Di postingan sebelumnya tentang review Thor, gw udah bilang kalo film ini emosional banget. Ada beberapa scene, yang melibatkan 3 karakter utama, Odin-Thor-Loki yang menyebabkan momen2 ini. Mungkin emang spesialisasinya Kenneth Branagh untuk bikin film bertema kayak gini.
1. Perdebatan antara Thor dan Odin setelah Odin membawa mereka pulang dari Jotunheim, yang berujung pada diusirnya Thor ke bumi.
Odin: You are a vain, cruel, greedy boy!
Thor: And you are an old man and a fool!
Odin: Yes, I was a fool, to think you were ready
Odin: Thor Odinson, you have betrayed the express command of your king. Through your arrogance and stupidity, you've opened these peaceful realms and innocent lives to the horror and desolation of war!
Odin: You are unworthy of these realms! You're unworthy of your title! You're unworthy, of the loved ones you have betrayed.
Odin: I now take from you, your power! In the name of my father, and his father before, I, Odin Allfather, cast you out!
(setelah Thor terlempar ke bumi, Odin juga melempar kapak Mjolnir, tapi dikasih mantra dulu)
Odin: Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor.
2. Loki yang meminta penjelasan dari Odin tentang siapa dirinya, yaitu salah satu Jotuns (frost giant) yg diselamatkan Odin. Loki marah karena Odin tidak pernah menceritakan hal ini sejak awal, yang menyebabkan Odin stres dan masuk ke dalam Odin Sleep.
Loki: Am I cursed?
Odin: No.
Loki: What am I?
Odin: You're my son.
Loki: What more than that?
Loki: The Casket wasn't the only thing you took from Jotunheim that day, was it?
Odin: No. In the aftermath of the battle, I went into the temple and I found a baby. Small for a giant's offspring. Abandoned, suffering, left to die. Laufey's son.
Loki: Laufey's son.
Odin: Yes.
Loki: Why? You were knee-deep in Jotun blood, why would you take me?
Odin: You were an innocent child.
Loki: No. You took me for a purpose. What was it?
Loki: TELL ME!
Odin: I thought we could unite our kingdoms one day. Bring about an alliance, bring about permanent peace. Through you.
Loki: What?
Odin: But those plans no longer matter.
Loki: So I am no more than another stolen relic, locked up here until you might have use of me.
Odin: Why do you twist my words?
Loki: You could have told me what I was from the beginning, why didn't you?
Odin: You're my son. I wanted only to protect you from the truth.
Loki: What, because I'm the monster parents tell children about at night?
Odin: No, no.
Loki: You know, it all makes sense now! Why you favored Thor all these years! Because no matter how much you claim to love me, you could never have a Frost Giant sitting on the throne of Asgaard!
(kemudian Odin jatuh pingsan)
*Imagine you're in Loki's position. Gimana ga simpati sama dia?
3. Loki mengunjungi Thor yg sedang ditahan di markas SHIELD. Loki ngasih kabar (palsu) kalo Odin sudah mati, dan kalo Thor ga boleh kembali ke Asgaard. Thor ga protes, dan minta maaf atas sikapnya selama ini.
Thor: Loki! what are you doing here?
Loki: I had to see you.
Thor: What's happened? Tell me, is it Jotunheim? Let me explain to Father.
Loki: Father is dead.
Thor: What?
Loki: Your banishment, the threat of a new war, it was too much for him to bear. You mustn't blame yourself. I know that you loved him. I tried to tell him so, but he wouldn't listen.
Loki: It was so cruel to put the hammer within your reach, knowing that you could never lift it. The burden of the throne has fallen to me now.
Thor: Can I come home?
Loki: The truce with Jotunheim is conditional upon your exile.
Thor: Yes, but couldn't we find another way...
Loki: And Mother has forbidden your return. This is goodbye, Brother. I'm so sorry.
Thor: No. I am sorry. Thank you for coming here.
Loki: Farewell.
4. Thor menghadapi Destroyer sendirian, dan memohon Loki agar tidak melukai yang lainnya, cukup dia saja. Destroyer memukul Thor hingga pingsan. Sikap pengorbanan ini membuat Thor pantas dan Mjolnir terbang kembali ke tangannya.
Thor: Brother, whatever I have done to wrong you, whatever I have done to lead you to do this, I am truly sorry. But these people are innocent. Taking their lives will gain you nothing. So take mine, and end this.
5. Pertarungan antara Thor dan Loki. Loki menyebutkan alasan kenapa dia membenci Thor, bahwa dia ingin membuktikan diri pada ayah mereka dan dianggap setara dengan Thor.
Thor: Why have you done this?
Loki: To prove to Father that I am the worthy son. When he wakes, I will have saved his life. I will have destroyed that race of monsters. And I will be true heir to the throne!
Thor: You can't kill an entire race!
Loki: Why not? And what is this newfound love for the Frost Giants? You could have killed them all with your bare hands.
Thor: I've changed.
Loki: So have I. Now fight me.
Loki: I never wanted the throne! I only ever wanted to be your equal.
Thor: I will not fight you, Brother!
Loki: I'm not your brother. I never was.
Thor: Loki, this is madness.
Loki: Is it madness? Is it? Is it?? Come on. What happened to you on Earth that turned you so soft? Don't tell me it was that woman. Oh! It was! Well, maybe, when we're finished here, I'll pay her a visit myself!
6. Akhir pertarungan. Thor menghancurkan Bifrost. Loki berusaha mencegah, dan ketika Bifrost hancur, mereka terlempar dan nyaris jatuh ke dalam antariksa. Odin menyelamatkan mereka, tapi Loki melepaskan tangannya dan menjatuhkan dirinya sendiri.
Loki: Look at you, the Mighty Thor, with all your strength, and what good does it do you now, huh? Do you hear me, Brother? There's nothing you can do!
(Thor mulai ngancurin jembatan dengan kapaknya)
Loki: What are you doing? If you destroy the bridge, you'll never see her again!
Thor: Forgive me, Jane.
(jembatan hancur)
(Loki dan Thor hampir jatuh ke luar angkasa, tapi Odin nyelamatin mereka)
Loki: I could have done it, Father! I could have done it! For you! For all of us!
Odin: No, Loki.
(Loki yang hatinya hancur, melepaskan pegangannya, kemudian jatuh)
Thor: Loki, no. No!
Odin: No.
Asli, adegan yg ini selalu sukses bikin gw nangis setiap kali ditonton.
